Compared with the previous generation of converter, it has the advantages of large output power, small volume and light weight due to the use of low power consumption, large capacity self-coupled voltage regulator and high permeability iron core. Mainly used for a bus protection and a variety of current transformer ratio test projects, is widely used in electric power, railway, petrochemical, metallurgy and mining enterprises such as scientific research, production and electrical test site.

1. Name and classification

(2) Environmental group: belongs to Group III instruments in the GB6287.1-86 General Outline of Environmental Tests for Electronic Measuring Instruments (which can be used in outdoor environment).

(7) Output waveform: The output current is a standard sine wave with small burrs, which is better than the power system requirement index standard, and the ripple coefficient is less than 0.3. Standard sine wave.

2. Operational aspects

(1) After the wiring is completed, check it again to see if there is a wiring error and whether the connector is in good contact.

(2) During the test, if there is a spark, and there is no abnormal phenomenon such as display when starting up, the power should be turned off immediately and the wiring should be rechecked.

(3) In the actual wiring, the current output terminal should form a loop, otherwise the instrument will not output current.

(4) This converter is provided with random output wire; the output external copper wire is selected according to 10A/mm2.

(5) The capacity of the equipment is designed for short-term work in 2 minutes. If it is used for batch test, the working time should be less than 2.2 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes, the next work will be carried out. If the temperature rise (30 minutes -24 hours) should be prepared according to the long-term working temperature rise.

Test wiring steps are as follows:

The first step: according to the description of CT test items described in Table 2.1, wire according to Figure 2.1 or Figure 2.2 (for CT of various structures, refer to the actual wiring method described in Annex D).
